What a day. After my earlier post, I got cleaned up, grabbed a sandwich, and was out the door by two. I started out with a trip to the university to see Don, and we had a grand old chat. I headed downtown, and made a stop at the optomatrist, and the Confed. Center. At four I was standing on the corner of Grafton and Queen, ready to head home. By that point I was cold, and gave in, I called Dad and got him to pick me up and drive me home.

My DIY work in the basement is coming together nicely. Mom and I moved the freshly painted bookcase and TV stand back into the sitting area. There's so much more I want to do. It's taking awhile, but I'm satisfied. Bit by bit we're weeding out all of the mess...all except the kitchen.
